Tanya Stevenson, owner of Park Avenue Properties, was the key factor in a successful purchase of our retirement home in Colorado Springs. Tanya supported us on multiple, short notice, fly-in house hunting trips as well as active online assistance in trying to find the right property for us while we were still living out of state. Tanya has an innate ability when walking through a new property for the first time to be able to spot defects and issues with the property well before getting professional home structured on site. For example, Tanya spotted a concrete foundation crack along the wall, hidden underneath a carpet that I never saw. Tanya looks for possible trouble areas like: poor paint touchup jobs on water spots on ceilings, effervescence on basement floors & walls, blown window panes, doors not fitting correctly, floors out of flatness and level, drywall installation or repair issues, kitchen appliances that have not been cared for, invalidly installed water heaters, checks the age of the air conditioner and other major utilities. I used to say that Tanya was better than a home inspector. I also want to thank Jenafer Weems, the office manager, who handles all of the back office contractual support items, such as ensuring timely deliveries, and staying on top of on time document sign offs, for both us as well as the other party. Jen has an excellent innate attention to detail ability to ensure the closing process move along efficiently and swiftly, as well as just making issues & problems go away. Jenafer is your go to person for process questions and getting direct answers from the other side agent’s. Jenafer just doesn’t take no for an answer from the others parties, either professionally or contractually..
